Coach Estrada has been coaching wrestling for 20 years. He began in 7th grade and was a 3x state qualifier for Granite City HS. He started his first club in 2004 which quickly became one of southern Illinois's most well known clubs. They posted over 10 state champions and 20 state placers within 5 years. Estrada then found his way to Colorado where he ran one of the United State's most successful youth olympic preparatory programs for 15 years. Boasting over 50 national champions, over 20 state champions, and 10 world team members! During that time he also claimed state champions in California and Utah as well as Fargo champions all over the country. He then moved on to Hilton Head Island South Carolina where he became the president of South Carolina's chapter of USA wrestling and broke state records with all Americans. He has now settled down with his family and will be running the wrestling program for Gulf Coast Regional Training Center. He is a girl dad through and through with a finger on the pulse of wrestling around the nation.
